Since 2018, Fahmie has found rock climbing (quadrupedal movement) a whole new channel to understand the human body and is excited to explore his physicality and movement through it. Given the window of opportunity to take on the role of coaching in climbing, he is still learning endlessly from his sensei, Beatrix and hopefully one day to meet and learn from people like Udo Neumann, Klaus Isele, Tonde Katiyo, or even Jon Yuen!
His rapid progression for climbing and coaching pedagogy reflects the line of self-improvement work our team does here, which involves a little bit of everything including balance work, strengthening, and mobility. With the access to climbing podcasts, rehab, and strengthening videos that’s widely available on the internet today, he utilizes this as a tool to improve on himself, in hopes to share his knowledge and help others one day. His passion for climbing has not only become his creative outlet, but for its sense of community!
Fahmie firmly believes that the key to longevity in life is to keep moving our body, because we can! As Bruce Lee also once said, “Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind”.
